MI Safe Start - Operations at AmeriCenters

Dear AmeriCenter Clients,

As a workspace provider for many essential businesses, AmeriCenters has remained open during the Stay Home, Stay Safe Order with some alterations to operations. As we plan for Phase 4 of the MI Safe Start plan, which would permit general office environment use for all clients, we would like to make sure you to know what to expect at AmeriCenters moving forward. As of Monday, June 1st, we will be making the following changes to operations:

  • Onsite Staff Hours – We will have a staff member onsite from 9:00am – 1:00pm, Monday – Friday. (We will return to standard onsite staff hours when Phase 4 of the MI Safe Start Plan officially begins.)

  • Access to Meeting Spaces  – We will be making the following changes to the access and use of our Meeting Spaces (Conference Rooms and Day Office):

    • Meeting space access will be permitted; however, we will be restricting the number of room occupants to comply with government mandated operating requirements. The maximum occupancy per room will be as follows:

      • Conference Room A – 6 Occupants

      • Conference Room B – 6 Occupants

      • Conference Room C – 4 Occupants

      • Day Office – 2 Occupants

    • Booking of the Meeting Room (Conference Rooms A & B with the wall removed) will not be permitted at this time.

    • We will move to a system of no touch check in and check out. Our staff will note the time you enter and leave your booked space. Clients will not be asked to sign in and out.

    • Our 24-hour cancellation requirement has been reinstated.

    • Please book your meeting spaces through our online room scheduler. Only use the meeting space you book and only for the timeframe you booked. Please be sure to tidy up and leave the meeting spaces in good condition upon the conclusion of your meeting.

  • Coffee Service Suspended – Coffee service will continue to be suspended to comply with public health official recommendations. We will continue to monitor public health recommendations and will reinstate the service when it is appropriate.

  • Water Fountain Use Suspended – Water fountain use will be suspended to comply with public health official recommendations. We will continue to monitor public health recommendations and will reinstate the water fountain use when it is appropriate.

  • Building Signage – Signage will be displayed at the building entrance regarding face covering requirements and social distancing guidelines. Additional signage may be displayed as appropriate in common areas to encourage best practices.
